What was your child hood aspirations
My childhood aspirations: My background is in psychology. I was and have always been intrigued by how life experiences impacts the daily living and routines of other individuals. I wanted to be able to help other make it through trials and tribulations that they face throughout their lives.
I wanted to help them, gain the tools they need in order to preserver through life. Although I am not directly in the mental health field any longer, I still feel as if I am helping improving the daily lives of others one cup at a time.
Can you give our readers a quick answer on business advice?
Business Advice: Make sure that you love the path you choose; make sure the path you take is a path that you chose and no one chose it for you. Running a business is hard work. There is no way around it and if you do not love it, then it will be easy to step away and give up.
What was your toughest challenge?
My toughest Challenge: My toughest challenge is stepping away and taking a “break” or a mini vacation. I am constantly being told that I need to step away completely even if it is for a day or two. But I love my work so much, it is really difficult for me to do so.
I understand that you cannot pour from an empty cup, but I love what I do and I am not ready to take a break even though I probably need to. My friends and family are forcing me to take a vacation this year and i’m still trying to figure out how to get out of it. haha
